Children's Classes

What’s unique about SDDT's Children's Classes?

This program teaches young dancers to discover the joy of dance. We serve the community by offering classes for beginning dancers as young as 20 months to 12 years of age. Focusing on child development, the children learn about music and try various style of dance while improving their flexibility, sense of rhythm, and overall coordination - not to mention teamwork, communication skills, and so much more!

Our recreational classes hope to give a safe environment in which children can develop independence, competence and strong self-esteem, as well as perfect their dancing and performance skills. Our camps feature a non-competitive environment for budding dancers, integrating a variety of all forms and levels, creating strong sibling bonds, as well as a convenient parent drop-off.

Our philosophy is to boost your child's personal and academic performance, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for the dancing children of working parents.
