San Diego Dance Theater presents Resilient Skies II: Bridging Waters, an evening-length performance that builds upon the artistic foundation established in Resilient Skies I (2025), continuing the company’s exploration of resilience, connection, and transformation.

Bridging Waters is a world premiere full-length work co-choreographed by Executive Artistic Director Terry Wilson and Operations & Development Director Matthew Armstrong. Centered on the element of water and its essential role in sustaining life, the work reflects on our deep interdependence with natural resources. As the piece unfolds, it also confronts how toxicity and environmental degradation increasingly impact these vital systems over time.

Through physical rigor, vulnerability, and collective movement, Bridging Waters serves as both a meditation and a call to awareness—inviting audiences to consider stewardship, responsibility, and the fragile balance between humanity and the natural world.
