Annual Workshops
At San Diego Dance Theater, we are passionate about nurturing the art of dance and fostering a vibrant community of dancers. Our Annual Workshops are a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional dance training, building connections, and ensuring that dance is accessible to all. Throughout the year, we offer a Summer Workshop and a Winter Workshop. Additionally, we eagerly host renowned guest artists who bring their own expertise and inspiration to our workshops. SubtleBodyBigDance Workshops
Join us for one of our most popular classes! Gina Sorenson will be holding 3 SubtleBodyBigDance workshops throughout the Spring Session.

Dancers are led through an imagery and sensation-based improvisation practice warm up inspired by the Israeli movement language, Gaga, and somatic modalities. Then, imagery and sensation are put into context in dynamic choreography. Students will discover new freedom and textures in their movement as well as an invigorated sense of play.
