Sundays: September 25 & October 2
6 Tours Daily -Every half hour: 1, 1:30, 2, 2:30, 3, 3:30
This year Trolley Dances will tour you east. Starting out at the Grantville station passengers will follow the Green Line into Santee. Our site-specific choreographers include: Jean Isaacs, Minerva Tapia, John Diaz, Allyson Green, and Paz Tanjuaquio. Audiences follow a trained tour guide to view six premiere dances created specifically for their unique location.
Directions by Trolley: Take the Green Line Trolley east from Old Town or West from Santee. Exit at Grantville Station and take stairs/elevator to the ground level.
Driving from Inland: I-8 West. Exit #8 for Mission Gorge Road/Fairmount Ave. Turn sharp right onto Alvarado Canyon Road. Take second left into Grantville Trolley Station parking.
Driving from the Coast: I-8 East. Exit #8 for Mission Gorge Road/ Fairmount Avenue. Turn left onto Mission Gorge Road. Turn right onto Alvarado Canyon Road. Through tunnel. Take second left into Grantville Trolley Station parking.
Purchase Tickets for Trolley Dances 2011
Tickets purchased after Sept 19, will be held
at our on site Will Call/Box Office.
Tickets are purchased for a given day of Trolley Dances, on that day you are able to choose from any of six tours. Each tour lasts approxamately 3 hours.
