Spend your summer dancing in San Diego!
San Diego Dance Theater’s Summer Dance Workshop is held at Dance Place San Diego. Only minutes from the beach, Dance Place features eleven state-of-the-art studios, men’s and women’s dressing rooms, lockers, showers, and much more. Dance Place is located at the NTC Promenade in Point Loma, one of San Diego’s flagship destinations for the arts, culture, science, and technology. In addition to San Diego Dance Theater, Dance Place is home to Malashock Dance and the San Diego Ballet. If you are registered to attend workshops with either of these companies, we will discount your tuition by $100.
Our Summer Workshops are the portal to professional Modern Dance in the region. Every San Diego Dance Theater company dancer began their relationship with us by attending a summer workshop. This is how we get to know you and your attributes and we often select dancers for our annual “Trolley Dances” from among workshop participants.
