Each of these choreographers applied to be part of The San Diego Young Choreographers Prize in 2010. It was through that process that our attention was drawn to thier abilities as young dance makers. We subsequently showed workshop versions of some of the work in an internal setting and the dances showed so much promise that we decided a fully-staged performance of this choreography was waranted.
